OREANDA-NEWS. Two-thirds of Russian small and medium-sized businesses have cut employee costs. RBC writes about this, referring to a survey of entrepreneurs by the NAFI analytical center.

According to the survey, companies reduced costs by cutting staff, abolishing the incentive system and lowering salaries.

The study indicates that the most common measure was the reduction of staff: it was announced by 27% of respondents. Another 26% canceled the motivation system. A quarter announced a reduction in the salaries of employees.

Also among the measures to reduce costs were: the transfer of employees to remote work (22%), leave at their own expense (16%) and the transfer of employees to other positions with a change in salary (12%).

The survey noted that a third of companies did not change their spending to cut costs.

On March 26, the Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance explained to Gazeta.Ru what rights such employees have and what they should do in case of dismissal. The provisions of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation apply to employees who work in Russia: it does not matter whether it is a foreign company or a Russian one. Therefore, in various situations, you need to be guided by the labor code.
