AvtoVAZ will launch production of Lada Aura in 2024

OREANDA-NEWS AvtoVAZ has scheduled the start of production of a new Lada Aura car for August-September 2024, RIA Novosti writes.
"The project will be successful only if there is confirmed stable demand," says the automaker's plan for next year, presented at the iMAF-2023 forum.
The LadaAura business class sedan model will be created on the basis of Lada Vesta. The new car has a 25 cm enlarged interior in the back row, the interior itself is made in genuine leather of domestic production. The car will be equipped with an automatic transmission, as well as a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower.
President of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov noted that the cost of Lada Aura will exceed 2 million rubles.
Earlier, Sergey Ilyinsky, Director of Public Relations at AvtoVAZ, said that the company was ready to promptly supply Russian officials with its cars.
