Prices for used cars from one country have decreased in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS The average cost of Chinese cars in the Russian secondary market decreased by 1 percent, to 1.98 million rubles. This is reported by "Gazeta.ru" with reference to the study "Auto.ru assessment".
Analysts note that the price of used cars from China has dropped below two million rubles for the first time since August 2023.
In addition, European, Japanese and Korean used cars have fallen in price to the level of January 2023 — such equipment can be bought for an average of 2.16 million rubles.
At the same time, the average price of domestic cars has remained stable and has been at the level of 700 thousand rubles for the past seven months.
Earlier it was reported that in October and November 2025, the volume of imported cars entering Russia through the Primorsky Territory set a historical maximum. The activity of importers was directly related to the upcoming increase in the amount of the recycling fee.
