OREANDA-NEWS  Sales of new electric vehicles in Russia by the end of 2025 decreased by 30% compared to last year and amounted to 13.5 thousand units, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reported, citing data from the analytical company PPK (part of the Electronic Passport group of companies).

This company relies on data from the electronic vehicle passport system.

"The market for new electric vehicles amounted to 13,498 units (-30% compared to the same period in 2024 – 19,383 units)," the ministry said in a statement.
