OREANDA-NEWS The first flight from Moscow to Pyongyang (DPRK) is scheduled for July 27, 2025, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
"The first flight from Moscow is scheduled for July 27, the journey time will be about eight hours," the message says.
The ministry added that further flights will be operated at a frequency of once a month to create sustainable demand and load flights.
It is clarified that earlier the Federal Air Transport Agency issued a permit for scheduled flights of the airline Nordwind. For the first time, the capitals of Russia and the DPRK will be connected by direct flights.
