OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will pay an official visit to China on November 5-7, the press service of the government reported.

During the visit, "on November 5, in Shanghai, the Russian Prime Minister will meet with Chinese President XI Jinping and take part in the opening ceremony of the First Chinese international exhibition of imported goods."

On November 7, "the 23rd regular meeting of the heads of governments of Russia and China will be held in Beijing, during which Medvedev and Premier of the state Council of China Li Keqiang will hold a detailed discussion of key issues of the Russian-Chinese trade and economic, investment, energy, interregional, cross-border and humanitarian cooperation, will consider the implementation of large-scale joint projects in the field of industry, energy, transport, agriculture, research and innovation."

The heads of government will also exchange views on the theme of the Eurasian economic Union and the Chinese initiative "One belt, one road".

Following the talks, Medvedev and Li Keqiang will sign a Joint communiqué. Intergovernmental, interdepartmental and corporate documents on various aspects of bilateral cooperation have been prepared for signing.

In mid-September, XI Jinping visited the Eastern economic forum (WEF) in Vladivostok, where he said that Russia and China should establish relations "hand in hand" for the sake of stability and peace.

Beijing and Moscow cooperate productively in the field of defense and security. According to Chinese defense Minister Wei Feng, Russian-Chinese relations are an example of cooperation and are characterized by a high level of cooperation between the armies of States.

Beijing hosted the Eighth international Sandanski forum on security issues. The conference was attended by an unprecedented number of representatives of foreign countries.
