OREANDA-NEWS  The talks between the special envoy of the President of the United States, Steve Witkoff, and the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, in Turkey, scheduled for November 19, were canceled. This was reported by The Economist columnist Oliver Carroll on the social network X.

"I was told that Witkoff probably didn't know what kind of scandal he was getting into when he made the appointment," the journalist wrote. He did not specify whether he was referring to the corruption case in Ukraine or something else.

It became known that Ermak is flying to London, where he plans to meet with former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, who now holds the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK. The meeting will take place against the background of the corruption scandal in Ukraine. At the same time, the topic of the conversation is unknown.
