OREANDA-NEWS Former Bolivian President Luis Arce is in police custody, he has been arrested in a corruption case, according to La Razon.

Former head of the presidential administration Maria Nela Prada said in a video posted on Facebook* that "some time ago, ex-President Luis Arce was abducted."

"At this moment, I am heading to FELCC (special police unit for combating crimes - ed.), where, as we know from unofficial sources, he was taken away," the politician said.

"Former President Luis Arce was arrested on Wednesday as part of an investigation into the case of an Indigenous Support Fund," the newspaper noted, citing Prada.
