France called on Zelensky to reverse one scandalous decision

OREANDA-NEWS French Minister Delegate for European Affairs Benjamin Haddad called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to repeal the law he signed limiting the autonomy of anti-corruption agencies. His words are quoted by Reuters.
"It's not too late to reconsider this decision. We will be following the developments very closely," the minister said.
Earlier, Zelensky signed a bill passed by the Verkhovna Rada that suggests limiting the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP).
On the evening of July 22, residents of Kiev, Odessa, Dnipro and Lviv protested against the adoption of the bill. The protesters began chanting obscene slogans against Zelensky's office, and Mayor Vitali Klitschko joined the protest action in the Ukrainian capital.
