OREANDA-NEWS  India has allocated 250.6 billion rupees ($2.8 billion) for the "Export Promotion Mission," a flagship initiative aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Indian exports, especially for small and medium—sized enterprises, the Indian Ministry of Trade and Industry said.

"The mission will provide a comprehensive, flexible and digital framework to facilitate exports with a total budget of RS 250.6 billion for the period 2025-2026 to 2030-2031 fiscal years. The export promotion mission marks a strategic transition from multiple disparate schemes to a single, results-oriented and adaptive mechanism capable of responding promptly to the challenges of global trade and the changing needs of exporters," the statement said.
