OREANDA-NEWS  Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a law suspending the republic's cooperation with the IAEA, the Iranian Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.

On June 25, the Iranian parliament voted in favor of a bill providing for a temporary suspension of cooperation with the IAEA. On June 27, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced the approval of the document by the Constitutional Guardians Council, a supra-parliamentary body that confirmed the constitutionality of the adopted legislative acts, and announced the entry into force of the decree.

The document, in particular, provides for a ban on the entry of IAEA inspectors into Iran "until national security in the nuclear field is guaranteed."

On June 22, the United States attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran - in Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz. This was preceded by Israeli military actions aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear program.
