OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, receiving Prime Minister Alexander Turchin with a report, demanded to solve the problem with the observed negative dynamics of exports of goods.

"But there is also a lag in industry. Industry is your question. Question number one. Organize, strain, and sell. Therefore, our exports, which is most annoying, have dropped by 2.5%," the Belta news agency quoted the president as saying.

Turchin clarified that the decline in exports concerns goods, but along with services, exports have increased by 1.2% this year. "But goods also need to be tightened. Because goods are people. These are labor collectives and salaries," Lukashenko said. He also said that before talking with the prime minister about the results of the economy in 8 months and the state of individual industries, he "requested information about the government's "shoals."
