OREANDA-NEWS The McDonald's fast food restaurant chain, which left Russia, has registered the McFlurry ice cream trademark. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the company submitted applications in December 2024, and in January 2026, Rospatent decided to register the trademark. The company received the exclusive right to it until December 28, 2034.

Earlier it became known that McDonald's has registered seven trademarks in Russia: "Big Tasty", "Quarter Pounder", "Royal Cheeseburger", McFresh, McFlurry, Big Mac and "Mcdostavka".

Companies that have left Russia regularly apply for trademark registration in order not to lose their right to them on the Russian market, but in none of the cases has this practice led to a return.
