OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian migrants "have too many rights" in Poland and they need to be infringed upon for equality with the population of the republic. This was stated by Slawomir Mentzen, candidate for the presidency of Poland from the Confederation party, on the air of the Zet radio station.

"There are really a lot of Ukrainians in Poland, they have too many rights," the politician protested.

In particular, Mentzen was outraged by the current social benefits for Ukrainians in Poland, who have payments for having children. He also added that they should not have advantages in the healthcare system.

Earlier, Mentzen promised to prevent Ukraine's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance and stated that he would not agree to sending troops to the post-Soviet country. He stressed that Poland does not want to be drawn into the Ukrainian conflict and risk the lives of its own soldiers.

Mentzer also admitted that he didn't care who owned Crimea or where the Russian-Ukrainian border would run. He noted that this is not in the national interests of Poland.
