OREANDA-NEWS The Paris Brigade Group on Combating Banditry is investigating the disappearance of seven works of art that were kept in theElysian Palace.  This is the main residence of the President of France.

A statement to the police was written by the National Center for Fine Arts. During the inventory, its experts missed six wood and terracotta statuettes, as well as one bronze bust.

Together with other works, they were provided to the palace from 1879 to 1984 by the State Department of Furniture, created by the French kings in the XIV century.

Searches for missing artifacts in numerous dungeons of the Elysian Palace did not bring results, reports France Info radio station.

The total cost of the loss is estimated at several thousand euros.
