OREANDA-NEWS One of the LUCAS kamikaze drones that the United States used to attack Iran was captured up close. The Telegram channel "Military Informant" drew attention to the relevant footage.
The video shows the fallen LUCAS (Low-cost Unmanned Combat Attack System, "Low-cost Unmanned Combat Strike System"), which is being inspected by local residents. It is claimed that the device crashed in Iraq.
The American LUCAS is almost identical to the Iranian Shahed-136 ("Shahed") drones. This is a device built according to the "tailless" scheme. A two-cylinder internal combustion engine with a pusher propeller is located in the stern. The main difference between LUCAS is the integrated Starlink satellite system terminal. It allows the device to be used in conditions of electronic warfare systems.
