OREANDA-NEWS The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should consider the possibility of cooperation with the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB), said IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
"I thank you (Russian President Vladimir Putin - ed.) for the initiative in the field of NDB, it seems to me that the IAEA should also enter into partnership with the NDB. We have not done this yet, but what you said today has given me a new idea, maybe we should conclude a memorandum of understanding with the NBR of the BRICS countries," he said at a meeting of the Global Atomic Forum.
The international Forum World Atomic Week, dedicated to the atomic and related industries and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, is taking place from September 25 to 28.
