The Russian House in Berlin will work for another 80 years, Primakov said

OREANDA-NEWSThe Russian House in Berlin continues its work and will operate in Germany until the extension of the intergovernmental agreement for more than 80 years, said the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov.
In June, a deputy from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), led by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, demanded that the remaining Russian diplomats be expelled from Germany and the Russian House in Berlin be closed. He also proposed banning the issuance of visas to Russian tourists, closing a number of information sources and blocking pages on social networks through which disinformation is allegedly spread.
"The Russian Cultural Center operates in Germany under an intergovernmental agreement, not by itself. And this agreement will be valid for another 80+ years until the next extension. By the way, the Goethe Institute is working in Moscow on the same inter-law," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
