Ritter stressed that Russia has defeated NATO and will now have its own presence in Europe. In his opinion, Russia has transformed a lot in recent years, unlike Western countries. "Since the 90s, Russia has become quite independent. Now she doesn't need Europe. But Europe really needs Russian energy," he said. Earlier, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said that Russia has everything it needs to win the conflict with Ukraine. He also added that Moscow is increasing the resources needed for combat operations, so it is faster to achieve its goals.
