OREANDA-NEWS  The US authorities have decided to suspend visa applications for citizens of 75 countries, including Russia. This is reported by Fox News.

The relevant decision was made as part of the tightening of control over visa applicants. It will enter into force on January 21, 2026. The list includes Somalia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Thailand, Yemen and other countries.

The State Department has instructed consular officials to refuse to issue visas to citizens of these countries until appropriate orders are issued.

Earlier, the United States seriously complicated the rules for obtaining visas for Russian citizens. So, you can get an entry permit only in Astana and Warsaw.
