OREANDA-NEWS  The U.S. Department of State has terminated funding for international assistance projects in several countries, including Belarus, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan, according to the U.S. Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).

Secretary of State Marco Rubio continues to scrutinize international assistance from the U.S. Department of State. Today, 139 grants worth $215 million were terminated, DOGE announced on its social media platform.
Among them, the $2.4 million program titled "Countering Disinformation through Creative Content in Belarus" was canceled.

Grants for programs worth $2 million in Moldova, $2.5 million in Uzbekistan, and $750,000 in Kyrgyzstan were also reduced.

Furthermore, the State Department's programs in Armenia, Bulgaria, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Libya, Mauritania, Tunisia, and Sri Lanka were terminated, according to the publication.
