OREANDA-NEWS  Former President of Moldova, leader of the opposition Party of Socialists Igor Dodon said that in the republic, with the consent of the authorities, there is a struggle against traditional Christian values and the LGBT ideology is aggressively promoted* (the movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

"Under the influence of Soros' ideology and with the consent of the authorities of the PDU (ruling Action and Solidarity party - ed.), the Republic of Moldova is fighting against traditional Christian values and aggressively promoting LGBT people*. And after the PYD seized the judicial system, the judicial authorities are also striking at the Church and believers," Dodon wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that in response to the attempt of the Orthodox Church to resist the propaganda of LGBT activists who organize parades and other events that have a detrimental effect on children, the government used tools under its control. "Recently, the court declared inadmissible the lawsuit filed by the Archdiocese of Chisinau and All Moldova against the decision of the Equality Council of December 23, 2022, which found that the archdiocese's disagreement with the organization of the LGBT* parade in Chisinau constitutes "incitement to discrimination based on sexual orientation. This means that any criticism or attempt to defend against aggressive LGBT propaganda* is "incitement to discrimination," he explained.
