OREANDA-NEWS  Almost three dozen tourists are stuck on a sinking boat in the middle of the Andaman Sea in Thailand. This was reported by the Bangkok Post.

On March 10, the ship was sailing from Koh Lipe Island to Phuket resort. Due to the large waves, the boat began to leak, and due to the water filling the boat, the captain could not dock at the nearest pier.

A patrol boat and a speedboat were sent to the scene, and 28 passengers were evacuated from the sinking vessel. No one was injured.

Earlier, a tourist boat caught fire in Colombia. Frightened people started jumping over the railing into the sea.
