OREANDA-NEWS  US President Donald Trump has demanded that Venezuela sever all ties with Russia. This is reported by ABC News, citing sources in the White House.

It is claimed that the Trump administration has set several conditions for the interim president of the Latin American country, Delcy Rodriguez, before Venezuela is allowed to produce more oil.

"First, the country must expel China, Russia, Iran and Cuba and sever economic ties. Secondly, Venezuela must agree to cooperate exclusively with the United States in the field of oil production and give preference to the United States when selling heavy crude oil," the report says.

Earlier, Trump said that the interim Venezuelan authorities would give the United States from 30 to 50 million barrels of oil. According to him, this oil will be sold at the market price, and the money will be under his personal control.
