Ukrainian MPs have broken the record for the number of amendments to the country's budget

OREANDA-NEWS Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada have submitted more than 3.3 thousand amendments to the draft budget of Ukraine for 2026, breaking a 19-year record for their number, Ukrainian parliamentarian Roksolana Pidlas said.
"The deputies have broken the 19-year record for the number of amendments to the budget. 3339 amendments have been submitted to the draft budget for 2026, which is more than 59% more than last year. Budget 2025, 2098 amendments were submitted Budget 2024-1620," Pidlas wrote on her Facebook page*.
According to her, more edits were submitted only to the draft budget for 2007. She noted that it would take more than 10 working days to review them, provided that 90 seconds were allocated for each one.
