OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominique Netter as an independent director.

Ms. Netter joins most recently from Edmond de Rothschild Banque (France), where she was Chief Investment Officer for Private Banking from 2007 - 2015. Prior to this, Ms. Netter was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, a role she held between 2001 and 2007. Ms. Netter previously held management roles at brokerage firms HSBC CCF Securities and equity research firm, Detroyat Associes. Ms. Netter was appointed to the Board of Directors of investment company FFP in February 2016.

Ms. Netter, whose appointment was effective May 1st 2016, joins fellow independent director Sanjeev Handa in providing governance oversight to the Board of Directors of Fitch Ratings. She succeeds director George Miller, whose term will conclude in November.
