OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has updated its 'Rating Criteria for Availability-Based Projects'. The updated criteria are not expected to have an impact on any current ratings.

The revised criteria report identifies Cost Risk as the most significant rating attribute as it impacts the amount of financial cushion required. In addition, the criteria report provides clarification in areas including Fitch's evaluation of technical advisor reports, the development of Fitch's base case and interest rate sensitivities.
