OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank and the Government of Amur Region entered into a cooperation agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum. The document was signed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank and Alexander Kozlov, Governor of the Amur Region.

The agreement sets forth a number of key areas of cooperation: development and financing of major investment projects, including via private-public partnerships; lending to the regional budget; and creation of multifunctional centres that provide state and municipal services for individuals and enterprises.

The agreement also includes servicing the foreign economic activity of the region’s companies; developing entrepreneurship and remote service channels; introducing a cash-free payment system and the accompanying infrastructure.

The Eastern Economic Forum will take place in Vladivostok on September 2-3, 2016. The slogan of the forum is “Opening up the Russian Far East”.
