OREANDA-NEWS  The debts of Russians for utilities and resources remain at the level of 2023. This was announced by the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, reports TASS.

Fayzullin gave an assessment of the level of debts of the population during a government meeting. "To date, the overdue debt of consumers for resources and services remains at the level of last year and amounts to 871 billion rubles," the minister said.

Earlier, economist Elena Zatsarinnaya reminded Russians about the risk of disconnecting utilities for housing and communal services debts. According to the law, if payments are delayed for more than two months, the management company, having previously warned the defaulter, has the right to suspend the provision of services without a court decision.
