OREANDA-NEWS  In Germany, €1 billion, intended for Ukraine, suddenly disappeared, the German newspaper Bild reports. According to him, the German Ministry of Defense is "in complete chaos."

The publication notes that on June 12, military aid for Ukraine in the amount of €9 billion was announced, and a week later the German Ministry of Defense announced that €7.3 billion had already been approved by the Bundestag and another €1.9 billion were awaiting approval. However, on June 23, the German Ministry of Finance submitted a draft budget for 2025, in which the amount of military aid decreased to €8.3 billion for an unknown reason.

Earlier, Chris Coons, an American Democratic senator from Delaware, said that Ukraine wants to agree on the possibility of purchasing weapons from the United States through European financing. According to him, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky really needs air defense systems.
