Inflation in Russia slowed down to 7.52 percent in annual terms

OREANDA-NEWS Inflation in Russia slowed to 7.52% in annual terms on December 4 from 7.54% a week earlier, according to a review by the Ministry of Economic Development "On the current price situation."
As indicated in the message, in the segment of food products, price growth slowed to 0.32% from 0.44% in the last reporting week. "Prices for fruit and vegetable products increased by 1.94%. For other food products, the price growth rate decreased to 0.17%. Chicken meat has fallen in price, the rise in price of pork, beef, eggs and rice has slowed down, the reduction in price of sugar and buckwheat has accelerated," the message says.
In the non-food segment, prices did not change during the reporting week, and in the regulated, tourism and consumer services industry, price growth slowed to 0.03%, the ministry said.
