OREANDA-NEWS Over 3 trillion rubles were received by the Moscow city budget in January-October of this year, the capital's budget revenues increased by more than 11% compared to the same period last year. This was reported in the press service of the Finance Department of the capital.

"For 10 months of 2022, they (Moscow's budget revenues) increased by 11.3% compared to the same period last year. In total, in January-October 2022, the city budget received 3 trillion 10.2 billion rubles," the press service of the relevant department said in a statement on Thursday.

It is noted that tax revenues came in the amount of 2 trillion 645.4 billion rubles, or 87.9% of all income. Non-tax revenues amounted to 295.1 billion rubles. This is 9.8% of the total revenue of the Moscow budget for January-October 2022.

According to the results of January-October 2022, revenues to the budget of Moscow from economic sectors were distributed as follows: the volume of payments from trade enterprises amounted to 474.8 billion rubles. Financial and credit organizations paid 425 billion rubles to the city budget. Payments from organizations engaged in real estate transactions amounted to 195.6 billion rubles, manufacturing industry – 192.3 billion rubles.

"Most economic entities have adapted to the new economic reality. Enterprises and organizations have rebuilt their work after the departure of a number of foreign companies from the highly competitive capital market, gradually occupy vacant niches and expand the range of products," said Elena Zyabbarova, head of the Moscow Finance Department, her words were quoted in the press service.

"Thus, a significant event for the history of Moscow industry was the resumption of the production of cars under the legendary Moskvich brand. This project was implemented as soon as possible on the initiative of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," Zyabbarova said.

The press service also reported that the drivers of the growth of city budget revenues in 2022 were the IT sector, manufacturing and transport. Revenues of transport industry enterprises increased by 35.5%, information technology and communications and manufacturing industries - by 26.2% and 19.7%, respectively.
