OREANDA-NEWS  Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison lost almost $25 billion in a day due to the collapse of the corporation's shares, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranking of the richest people on the planet.

Oracle securities lost almost 11 percent the day before, dropping to $198.85 per share. In today's pre—trade, the decline continued to $197.1.

The reason was the financial report that the company submitted. Investors were disappointed that revenue for the last quarter of the fiscal year was below expectations, including for the cloud technology division.
