Ozon Bank has started issuing credit cards

OREANDA-NEWS Ozon Bank has started issuing credit cards, the bank said in a press release.
"Ozon Bank has the opportunity to open a credit card: customers will be able to pay for their purchases both online and offline," the release says.
"The credit card service remains free for the entire validity period. The grace period is up to 78 days with a credit limit of up to one million rubles," it adds.
It is also noted that the loan rate is calculated individually. "The minimum monthly payment is 4% of the outstanding amount," the message says.
The card can be issued in a virtual format, order a separate plastic version, or link a valid card to the credit limit, the release also notes.
"The launch of the credit card is the next step in the development of our classic banking line and an important step in strengthening the bank's credit line. We studied customer demand... We were preparing the infrastructure to offer customers an up—to-date financial product," commented Andrey Lichmanov, Chairman of the Management Board of Ozon Bank, whose words are quoted in the release.
Ozon Bank is a bank with a universal license from the Central Bank, which develops financial and payment services for individuals and legal entities: debit and credit cards, savings accounts and deposits, cash settlement services, online acquiring, online accounting. The bank has more than 31.7 million active customers.
