OREANDA-NEWS Work is underway with Chinese aviation authorities to resolve issues related to the accreditation of aircraft for flights to Beijing by Rossiya Airlines, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation said in a statement.

The day before, Rossiya Airlines announced that on December 15 it received a notification from Beijing Daxing Airport about the refusal to accept and service flights until additional requirements are met. At the same time, by the beginning of the first Vladivostok – Beijing flight on December 17, the carrier received an operational permit from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, confirmed slots and rights to operate flights from three Russian cities. Aeroflot added that Rossiya will receive all permits in the near future and will start flights to Beijing.

"In order to continue the flights of the Rossiya aircraft to Beijing International Airport (Daxing), work is underway with the Chinese aviation authorities to resolve working issues related to the accreditation of aircraft," the message says.
The ministry also noted that the carrying capacity of the Aeroflot Group is currently sufficient to transport passengers who planned to fly to China on flights operated by Rossiya Airlines.
