OREANDA-NEWS  The volume of Russian investments in U.S. government bonds in November fell to $ 29 million from a month earlier at $ 30 million, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury Department.

As follows from the statistics published by the agency in November, this portfolio now consists of $22 million in long-term securities and $7 million in short-term ones. At the end of October, the volume of investments amounted to $23 million and $7 million, respectively.

Japan retains the first place in the list of the largest holders of US debt, with investments rising to $1.202 trillion from $1.2 trillion in a month.
