OREANDA-NEWSThe net profit of Sberbank according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in 2019 increased by 1.6% and reached 845 billion rubles, follows from the materials of the bank.

"The net profit of the group, taking into account the effect of the sale of Denizbank, amounted to 845 billion rubles. The net profit of the group from continuing operations amounted to 914.8 billion rubles", the statement said. The bank notes that earnings per ordinary share, taking into account the effect of the sale of Denizbank, amounted to 38.55 rubles, an increase of 1% in annual terms. Earnings per ordinary share from continuing operations amounted to 41.80 rubles, an increase of 9.6%.

The company’s report also said that Sberbank increased retail loans by 16.8% in 2019 to 7.9 trillion rubles, while the corporate portfolio decreased by 3.2% to 13.9 trillion rubles.
