OREANDA-NEWS  It is worth checking your credit history at least once a year, to do this, you can contact the Bank of Russia, the National Bureau of Credit Histories or one of the credit history bureaus (BKI), Yulia Dormidontova, head of the Consumer Lending Department of the ICD, told RIA Novosti.

"The credit history should be checked at least once a year," Dormidontova said. One of the ways to do this is the portal "Public Services". You need to choose the service "Getting information about your credit history", after which the Bank of Russia will form a list of BKI during the day, in which the credit history of the applicant is stored.

"The information you need can be stored in several databases. Select one, go to the website, register and request a report. The credit history is provided free of charge twice a year," Dormidontova noted.

In total, according to the register of the Central Bank, there are six BCIs operating in Russia. "Paid requests for credit history can be sent to them an unlimited number of times directly or through intermediaries. Depending on the BCI or the intermediary through whom the paid request was made, the cost can be up to 1 thousand rubles," Dormidontova explained. The second way to find out your credit history is to request it from the Central Bank. To do this, on the official website of the Central Bank in the "Credit histories" section, you need to fill out the form "Request for information about the credit history bureau" and specify the email address where the response will come.

And finally, the fastest way to find out your credit history is to request it directly from the National Credit Bureau. You will need to register on the NCBI website and confirm your account through "Public Services". "On the main page of the site in the "Credit History" tab, click "Get online", and a file with all the details of loans and your credit rating will be generated for you immediately," Dormidontova concluded.
