The government has submitted a draft on the minimum wage for 2026

OREANDA-NEWS The government has submitted to the State Duma a bill to raise the minimum wage to 27 thousand rubles.
"To establish a minimum wage from January 1, 2026 in the amount of 27,093 rubles per month," the text of the draft federal law says.
Currently, the minimum wage is 22,440 rubles before personal income tax.
As indicated in the accompanying documents, the ratio to the median salary for last year will be 48 percent. According to Rosstat, in 2024 it was 56,443 rubles.
It is noted that if the project is adopted, the salaries of about 4.6 million employees will increase.
