OREANDA-NEWS  The minimum wage in Russia from 2024 will be increased by 18.5%, which is significantly higher than inflation, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting. Officials are considering the draft federal budget for 2024-2026.

"Another important issue is about raising the minimum wage. On behalf of the president, we will speedily increase it. Starting next year, a total of 18.5%, which will significantly outstrip the rate of inflation," the prime minister said and added that from January 1, 2024, the minimum wage will exceed 19,200 rubles.

"Along with this, the salaries of more than four and a half million people will grow," he added.
