OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Finance has not considered changing the personal income tax and luxury tax rates this year, but may return to this issue in the future, said Anton Siluanov, head of the department.

"Have we considered tax changes, including personal income tax, the upper limit, and the luxury tax? No, we haven't considered it. Because we made all the decisions on personal income tax last year, and it would probably be wrong to return to this issue again," he said at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes.

As for the luxury tax, the Finance Ministry may work on this area, but not this fiscal year, Siluanov added. Besides, according to him, it will not give a lot of money to the budget.
