The monetary base in Russia increased by 164 billion rubles from July 10 to July 17

OREANDA-NEWS The volume of the monetary base in a narrow definition in the Russian Federation on July 17 amounted to 21985.8 billion rubles, the press service of the Bank of Russia reported.
As of July 10, the monetary base in Russia was 21,821.8 billion rubles. Thus, during the period it increased by 0.75%, or by 164.0 billion rubles.
The monetary base, in a narrow definition, includes cash issued by the Bank of Russia (including balances in the cash desks of credit institutions) and balances on mandatory reserve accounts for funds raised by credit institutions in national currency deposited with the Central Bank.
As of July 10, the monetary base in Russia was 21,821.8 billion rubles. Thus, during the period it increased by 0.75%, or by 164.0 billion rubles.
