OREANDA-NEWS. Anti-Russian sanctions are likely to “wash out” foreign business if Russia provides the necessary economic growth under pressure, political analyst Sergei Markov told NEWS.ru. Another option, the speaker noted, is the taking of the entire territory of Ukraine under the control of the Russian Federation and the abolition of restrictions on the part of the West in exchange for the western part of the neighboring state. Thus, he commented on the speech of US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, who said that restrictions on Moscow would be lifted if the Kremlin stops the special operation in Ukraine, “restoring peace, recognizing the sovereignty and territorial integrity” of this state.

Markov called the words of the American official lies and tricks. According to the political scientist, the goal of the State Department is “a coup d'etat, the removal of the president and the establishment of a puppet regime. They will not cancel anything, they will only strengthen it.”

This is a lie, no doubt. Nothing will be canceled, only strengthened. These are tricks. In fact, their goal is a coup d'etat, the removal of the president and the establishment of a puppet regime. The sanctions will be lifted, relatively speaking, if the Russian Federation takes the territory of the whole of Ukraine under control, in exchange for the Russian Federation to give Ukraine to the West, and even then it is extremely unlikely. It is likely that sanctions will be lifted in a few years under pressure from business if the Russian Federation provides the necessary rate of economic growth, as was the case with China after the events in Tiananmen Square. Huge sanctions were imposed on the PRC, but Beijing ensured economic growth, and almost all sanctions were gone, Markov emphasized.

The speaker explained that foreign companies that cease their activities in the Russian Federation will again begin to fight for the Russian market, begin to come to the Russian Federation again and “wash out” the sanctions, including the ban on flights.
