OREANDA-NEWS   The Russian government will allocate 3.3 billion rubles in 2023 for child payments to low-income families, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

"At the initiative of the head of state, monthly allowances are assigned for every child from 3 to 7 years old who are brought up in such families. In addition, we will send over 3 billion 300 million rubles to the regions for their payment this year," Mishustin said.
Also, from January 1, a single benefit will be introduced, which will combine the current payments to pregnant women and monetary assistance for children. Mishustin asked Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova to personally monitor the launch of this support mechanism.
