OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian stock market is experiencing a positive start to the trading day on Monday, with the Moscow Stock Exchange index rising by 2.13% to 2,911.58 points by 7:01 Moscow time.

The Moscow Stock Exchange resumed morning trading on the stock market on January 27, which operates from 6:50 to 9:50 Moscow time. The main trading session runs from 9:50 to 18:50 Moscow time, during which the official value of the Moscow Exchange index (iMOEX) is determined.

For informational purposes, the Moscow Exchange index with an additional code (iMOEX2) is also calculated throughout the trading day, from 7:00 to 23:50 Moscow time, and it coincides with iMOEX during the main trading session.
