The State Duma Proposes to Equalize the Salaries of Deputies with the Average Earnings
The deputy of the State Duma commented on the decision of the government of Kazakhstan to ban the increase in the salary of deputies for five years.
Delyagin explained that such measures have not yet been raised and worked out in the Russian parliament.
“I believe that MPs should have an average salary in the country, and the salaries of ministers should be tied to the average salary in the country. Regarding the moratorium [in Kazakhstan]: I believe that this is absolutely correct, therefore it was not even discussed, "Delyagin explained.
State support measures provide the deputies with everything they need, Delyagin noted.
The average salary in the Russian Federation, according to the publication, in 2021 exceeded 54 thousand rubles.
Earlier it was reported that the deputies want to exempt poor Russians from paying tax.
State Duma deputies want to change personal income tax rates for rich and poor Russians. Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov, in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru, expressed the opinion that low-income citizens of the country should be exempted from this tax.
He explained that the Liberal Democratic Party is working on a bill on a progressive scale of taxation.
“Those who get a lot should pay more tax. And vice versa, it is necessary to exempt from tax those who receive little - at the level of 20 thousand rubles. ", - explained the deputy.
