OREANDA-NEWS Tinkoff Bank has updated its logo, which now has a black letter "T" on a yellow background instead of the former coat of arms with a unicorn, according to a message posted on the Telegram channel of the credit institution.

The bank noted that the changes symbolize its movement towards simplicity and accessibility for customers, which it was decided to reflect in the updated logo. The brand name, which used to be written in Latin, is now reproduced there in a Russified version, Frank Media notes.

The journalists did not specify whether it is planned to use the old logo in the future, as well as how long it will take to update the symbols that Tinkoff uses in the design of materials.

Earlier it became known that the re—registration of the bank's parent structure, TCS Group, which will move from Cyprus to Russian Island in Primorsky Krai as part of the redomicilation procedures, may be completed in the first or second quarter of 2024.
