OREANDA-NEWS  Ankara needs Russian investments to build a gas hub. This was stated by a member of the Security and Foreign Policy Council under the President of Turkey, Chagry Erhan.

According to the politician, quoted by the online publication Free Press, the negotiations with Russia on the construction of the hub were suspended because the priorities changed due to the earthquakes in Turkey.

Erhan also added that the gas hub is fundamentally beneficial to the country, however, at present, Ankara does not have money to build it. Therefore, Turkey needs investments from Russia to start the construction of a gas distribution center.
