OREANDA-NEWS Vietnam currently uses cryptocurrency for settlements with Russia, but the countries are looking for new ways of mutual settlements, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin said at a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.

"We are looking for payment methods for our cooperation. In the current situation, we use cryptocurrency for payments," the Vietnamese prime minister said.

Alexey Overchuk led the Russian delegation that arrived in Malaysia on Sunday to participate in the 20th East Asia Summit and other events organized by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
