OREANDA-NEWS Residents of Armenia have included Russia in the top 3 states that pose a threat to their country. This was told by the newspaper "Gazeta.ru" with reference to the results of a survey conducted by the IRI Institute.

According to the study, 11 percent of the survey participants consider Moscow a threat. The first place was taken by Turkey with a score of 88 percent, the second went to Azerbaijan (81 percent).

At the same time, 57 percent of the Armenians surveyed called Russia the most important political partner of their country, another 50 percent consider France as the main partner, 38 percent - the United States.

61 percent of respondents named Russia as Armenia's main economic partner, 40 percent - Iran, 29 percent - China.

In 2017, a similar survey was conducted in Russia. The survey participants called the USA (68 percent), Ukraine (29 percent) and the European Union (14 percent) the main enemies of the country. Respondents also voted for the former Soviet republics (10 percent), Poland (eight percent), Germany, NATO and England (six percent each).

In general, 66 percent of the survey participants believed that Russia has enemies, 21 percent denied their existence.
